  • Aimee left her desk job in 2021 to travel the world for an entire year — that year grew to three, and she's now visited over 20 countries and 30 U.S. states, preferring slow travel.
  • She is particularly drawn to cool-weather islands around the world and fell in love with the Aran Islands in Ireland, Ocracoke in North Carolina, and Iceland.
  • Aimee currently lives on a barrier island in North Carolina for part of the year and loves the isolation and unique culture that living on a remote isle brings.
